Loshe ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website loshe.in and the Loshe mobile app (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

• Account information — when you register, we collect your name, phone number, and optionally your email address and city.
• Tag and item data — the items you register to a QR tag (item name, description, and any reward you choose to offer).
• Finder interactions — when someone scans a tag, we log the time of the scan and the general region (not precise location) to notify you.
• Usage data — standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, for security and analytics.
• Communications — messages or feedback you send to our support team.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate and improve the Service — matching found items to their owners.
• Send you notifications when one of your tags is scanned.
• Route contact attempts from finders to you without revealing your actual phone number.
• Respond to your support requests.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized use of the Service.
• Comply with applicable law.

We do not use your information for targeted advertising and we do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Privacy of the Finder

When someone scans a Loshe tag, the finder page does not require them to create an account or share their personal details with us unless they choose to initiate contact. Contact through the Service is relayed anonymously — neither party sees the other's real phone number.

4. Sharing Your Information

We share your information only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers — third-party vendors (cloud hosting, SMS/WhatsApp gateway, analytics) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements.
• Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Loshe or others.
• Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same protections described here.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Tag scan logs are retained for 12 months. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
